Workforce Training

Workforce Training Support -- Northshore Technical College, the main campus of which is located in Bogalusa, is committed to workforce development, because job pace and shifts in workforce demographics present enormous challenges.  Northshore Technical College Workforce Development Division offers a number of business enhancement services including customized workforce training (credit and noncredit), industry certification programs, and grant funded programs in addition to our standard credit programs. Its customized training can be developed to fit the training needs of business and industry.  They will work to develop a curriculum that enhances the skills of an incumbent workforce or design a new program that will attract potential employees.  The Workforce Development Division focuses on fulfilling these primary goals: Deliver workforce development and training services with flexible delivery and rapid responses that meet the needs of the employer community.  Develop partnerships and leverage resources with our local communities to respond to their workforce development and training needs.  Give priority to collaborative regional strategies for workforce and economic development.
